Get Involved with SGC!
The Society for Game Cinematics (SGC) is a nonprofit built by and for professionals in game cinematics. Our Committee Chairs and Committee Members expand their networks, shape the direction of the industry, and collaborate with peers who share a passion for the craft. They also have a ton of fun!
It's rewarding work, and it requires real commitment. Committee Chairs and Members are accountable for their committee's mission, goals, and deadlines. All volunteers in SGC must be active "Professional" or "Emerging" level members in good standing.

Expectations & Meetings:
All Volunteers must agree to:
• 1 Year of service on the committee
• Attend bi-weekly committee meetings or as-set by the Committee Chair
• Provide email at which to receive regular SGC communications
• Contribute meaningfully to the work of the committee: receiving & delivering on regular assignments, tangible results that hit deadlines and meet the goals of the committee, regular communications and updates to Committee Lead and fellow Committee Members
Meeting Attendance: All committees meet via video call on a recurring basis, at least bi-weekly (every two weeks). This schedule may be increased or decreased accordingly by the Committee Chair as initiatives or events ramp up or down. If a committee member is unable to attend a meeting, they will let their Committee Chair know ahead of time. After 2 missed meetings with no communication, it is assumed that the volunteer will be unable to be a part of the committee. They will receive an email notice and be removed from SGC channels and email lists.
NOTE: We all know and understand that “life” happens. Please keep an open dialogue with your Committee Chair and come up with a plan if you need to be away for an extended period of time.
